Dee,

Great to have you here -- and nice work on locating bands! Novella has always been one of my all-time favorites. I emceed a Novella/Bride show in Tampa FL many years ago and chatted briefly with Jonathan after the show. What I told him then is still true today -- his lyrical content is unmatched in terms of its depth and its poetic qualities. He's the real deal.

And... I can't blame him for shaving his head -- I went that route earlier this year and I love it. But for me, it was by necessity. There wasn't enough hair left on top to keep up the charade...

Peace

I found some info on the band Novella. I have been wondering for years what happened to them, and what they are doing now. There is a fan page on myspace(www.myspace.com/fansofnovella) that gives some current info on John Spinola(bass), and Adam Gibson (drums), I actually emailed Adam today, and he emailed back with some info on Jonathan Pagano. He has an investment company called The Genesis Group,he is a registered Investment Advisor Rep with a bachelor's degree in business,..... and he is completely bald! ( I think he shaves his head) I emailed him also.... can't wait to hear from him.

The later 80's and early 90's was such an awesome time for Christian metal. I was not as into it then as I am now, because I wanted to get away from metal since I was hard core into it B.C. ( Before Christ) with bands like Metallica,Ozzy, Queenryche, Dio, Iron Maiden....Etc.......
I love Mortification, Bride, Stryper, Micheal Sweet, Strong Arm, Tourniquet,Novella, Deliverance,Demon Hunter...etc..........
.Underoath and Demon Hunter are so hard core it is sometimes hard for me to believe they are really a Christian band! Hey Holy Solider has gotten back together and going on tour again( Check out their myspace page)
Thanks for keeping metal alive!
