LOL.

"We've got NEGATIVE fruit here!"

I've never been the same since that record. It changed my life. (Kinda like what happened to Little Dumbo when the face of Art Carney appeared in the tortilley.)

Been listening to it all day.
Wow.
I have heard hide the beer and other songs before (so much of their stuff is remix and reprint, at least you get more than a dozen tracks with each record...) but never the whole thing.
He is so stinkpot clever and didn't put Daniel Amos on it anywhere, I didn't know it existed until today!!!
Keep Rockin.

fricker,

Thanks for visiting the site and for the enthusiastic comment. And yes... Meltdown at Madame Tussaud's is still one of the greats... ironic isn't it that both of the best satirists in Christian music shared the last name "Taylor?"

My favorite prank of Steve Taylor's of all time has got to be "I Blew Up the Clinic Real Good," followed closely by "Smug."

But back to the one and only Terry Taylor... if you managed to miss the "Right Reverend Dr. Edward Daniel Taylor and the Miracle Faith Prickly Heat Telethon of Love," go find it. Now.

Priceless.

Just ran across your site needing a Kalhoun pic for itunes, I agree... Terry Taylor is just the epitome of brains and poetry, mixed with high octane cynicism for the high minded. What a refreshing thing to have an artist poke fun at the crazy side of church! The other Taylor, Steve Taylor, was also the best (remember "Life Boat?" "Meltdown at Madame Tuosodewhateveryouspellit?"

I just heard Sprinkler for the first time today, laughed until I cried; then lamented, because their mock rock was higher quality than most Christian "Rock" put out at the time! omg. Also, don't forget... "Bibles dressed in spandex pants, if you can get the girls to dance, they'll follow you, all the way to heaven... Grab your heart through your hairy chest, and cling it to their longing breasts, they'll follow you, all the way to heaven." Swirling Eddies, Outdoor Elvis.

Daniel Amos, DA, Swirling Eddies; just the best ever.

Phenomenal!!!
